Households, Sharing & Permissions

Add the people who make up your household — family, roommates, kids, even the dog — invite them to view or edit your locations, and let Cratify suggest whose stuff is whose. No more asking "where did you put the…?"

Meet Households

Households are the new foundation for sharing in Cratify. Add everyone who actually lives under your roof — partner, kids, roommates, and yes, the dog — and Cratify gets smarter about whose stuff is whose.

  • Real members, not just contacts — Add family, roommates, and pets as people in your Household
  • Smarter belongs-to suggestions — Assign a possession and Cratify suggests the people who live there, not your whole address book
  • Pets get their own stuff — A leash or food bowl can officially belong to the pet, not "miscellaneous"
  • Locations belong to Households — Link a location to a Household so its members and permissions travel with it

Organization Is a Team Sport

Once your Household is set up, sharing locations is one tap. Each member gets their own account and can browse, search, and (optionally) edit the shared possessions and containers.

  • Role-based access — Choose view-only or full edit permissions per person
  • Real-time sync — Changes appear instantly for everyone
  • Ownership transfer — Transfer possessions, containers, or locations to another user
  • Hidden items — Keep sensitive items private even in shared locations
